Abstract: On the basis of the data of domestic rodent infestation surveillance in the urban and rural areas from 1985 to 1991. the species composition of domestic rodents and the fluctuation of monthly and annual quantity in the urban and rural areas of Liaoning province were understood. It was known that there were two peaks of rodent density annually in the urban and rural areas. In recent years, the variety trend of domestic rodent density in tbe urban areas has obviously declined, the rodent density has been controlled below 1 percent(capture ratio).The rodent density in the rural areas has also decreased, but it is still above 1 percent.
