Abstract: Objective To investigate species distribution of chigger mites from three provinces of Northeast China.Methods We catched rats by the cage and collectd papers on chigger mites from 3 provinces of Northeast China.Results There are 32 species,11 genera and 3 subfamiles,of which them 18 species and 10 gerea were recorded from Liaoning province,12 species and 4 genera were recorded from Jilin province,15 species and 4 genera were recorded from Heilongjiang province.Distribution and host of known 32 species of chigger mites were recorded from 3 provinces of Northeast China.Conclusion This study provided the basis of faunal distribution study of chigger mites from 3 provinces of Northeast China.
