Abstract: This paper reported the repellent effect of a repellent paint against rat. Main active ingredient of this repellent paint is artificial chilli compound. K value with diet acceptance trial against white rat (Wistar) and Rattus norvegicus was respectively 86.9 and 93.775. Bitten number of exposing trial: with white rat, A comparison 3/3, B treatment 0/3, C comparison/treatment 3/3 / 0/3. With R.n.,A comparison 3/3, B treatment 1/3, C comparison/treatment 3/3 / 0/3. Bitten number of comparison and treatment with field trial was respectively 6/10 and 0/10. The result showd that this rat reppellent paint have better reppellent effect against rats.
