Abstract: In order to understand the situation of the residual vector sandfly of Kolaazar after this disease was basically controlled in Henan province,we caught,dissected and identified the vector sandfly in the representative area.The sandflies still exist in the mountain and hilly areas west of the JingGuang railway.Therefor there is latent danger for people to infect kolaazar if some new cases of this disease enter this area;While in the plain area, east of JingGuang railway the sandflies can be hardly found.So there seems no transmission danger of this disease if some new cases enter this area.
